About the role
The organization is seeking an experienced Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) for a high-acuity, 118-bed emergency care unit located in Springfield, MA. This role involves managing a diverse patient population, including behavioral health, boarding, emergency, trauma, and critically ill/Intensive Care Unit (ICU)-level patients. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong critical care skills and adapt comfortably to a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Start date: 10/05/2026; duration: 13 weeks.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Valid RN license
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- 16 years of experience in emergency or critical care
- Must be located within a reasonable distance to the facility
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience managing complex and unstable patients in a high-acuity emergency setting
