Travel Emergency Room RN - $2,463 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Brighton, Massachusetts. The assignment is 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. As an ER Travel Nurse you will work with a diverse team to evaluate, triage, and implement care according to physician instructions in a fast‑paced, urgent environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic bedside care
• Clean and bandage wounds
• Provide IV therapy
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies
• Document medical history and check for patient allergies
• Obtain patient vital signs
• Monitor patients’ emotional and physical well‑being
• Advise patients and family on illnesses or injuries
• Plan long‑term care needs
• Perform minor medical operations
• Stand and walk for long periods; bend, lean, and stoop without difficulty
• Lift up to 20 pounds routinely; move or lift patients requiring up to 50 pounds
• Cope with stress and relate to people of all ages and backgrounds

Requirements

• ACLS certification
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• TNCC certification
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience (1‑2 years preferred)
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
