Emergency Room Nurse in Springfield, Missouri. This position involves providing urgent and high-quality patient care in a busy trauma and stroke center within an urban environment. The role requires a committed individual capable of working nights in a fast-paced emergency department setting.

Schedule

Nights, 1900-0700, minimum of 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care to all age groups, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality.
• Coordinates patient care with ancillary departments, evaluates care effectiveness, and maintains professional accountability.
• Performs assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation activities within the scope of nursing practice and facility standards.

Requirements

• Current RN license (eligible for licensure in Missouri or licensed in Missouri).
• BLS, ACLS, PALS from AHA, TNCC, NIHSS certifications.
• 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room or 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma facility.
• One year of emergency department experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Trauma or pediatric experience.
• High patient volume experience.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
