Travel Emergency Room RN - $2,245 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Meridian, Idaho. This 13-week assignment begins on August 10, 2026, with a 36-hour workweek.

About the role

This travel nursing position is for an ER RN in a facility with a 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratio. The role involves serving as charge nurse each shift without taking a patient assignment. Assistant Nurse Manager and Admin Supervisor are present on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for high-acuity ESI level I patients, including pediatric and adult demographics.
• Stabilize and transfer pediatric patients as needed.
• Manage patients requiring drips such as NICARDIPINE, PROPOFOL, FENTANYL, NOREPI, NITRO, VERSED, and PRECEDEX.
• Chart using the EPIC system.

Requirements

• Minimum 2.5 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, preferably in a larger urban hospital setting.
• Trauma experience preferred.
• BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) required.
• Active nursing license required for submission.
• Adherence to a 50-mile radius rule; permanent address required for verification.

Certifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)

Schedule

• 12-hour evening shifts.
• 36 hours per week for 13 weeks.
• 1 shift of on-floor orientation after hospital and EPIC training.
