Travel Emergency Room RN - $2,190 per week

Job Summary

The Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position involves providing patient care primarily to adult and geriatric populations in a busy ER setting.

Job Details

• Location: Ottumwa, IA
• Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts
• Schedule: Minimum of 36 hours per week with a 36 or 48-hour guarantee available

Required Qualifications

• Valid BLS (AHA), ACLS, and TNCC certifications
• 1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility
• Iowa State Licensed RN
• Successful completion of a criminal background check including child abuse and criminal checks
• Current titers (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB) from the last 12 months
• Mandatory reporter certification (child and adult)
• Able to pass a 10-panel drug screen including opiates
• Must bring license on the first day

Preferred Qualifications

• Travel experience
• Experience in similar-sized facilities
• Adaptability to a high-volume ER setting

Additional Information

• This role requires working in a facility with 17 beds, managing a patient ratio of approximately 1:6, and utilizing the MediTech electronic health record (EHR) system
• Candidates must be flexible to start on Monday or Tuesday

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
