Travel Emergency Room RN - $2,116 per week
About the role
The small hospital in rural southeastern VT needs an ER RN to start ASAP. Night shifts. 3 bed ER. ER sees a variety of cases, but volume isn't high. BLs, ACLS and PALS required. 3-4 RNs normally on staff, LPN help as well. Cerner charting. RN will float to Med Surg to assist when needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist with patient care in the emergency department
- Perform diagnostic tests and treatments as necessary
- Provide emotional support to patients and families
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures
- Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals
Requirements
- Current RN license in good standing
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Experience in emergency department setting preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
- Strong communication skills
- Effective problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage stress and prioritize tasks
