About the role

Travel ER RN assignment at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, an 853‑bed Level I trauma center with Magnet designation. Start date 09/28/2026, 13‑week duration, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour evening shifts. Asheville lies in the Blue Ridge Mountains, offering arts, music, outdoor activities and is about a 2‑hour drive from Charlotte.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage and rapid assessment of emergency department patients
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team
• Provide high‑acuity emergency care in a Level I trauma setting

Requirements

• Current RN licensure (compact accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent emergency department experience
• ACLS‑AHA certification
• PALS‑AHA certification
• TNCC certification
• NIH Stroke Scale certification
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification (copy required)
• Social Security Number and date of birth required
• No more than 90 days of employment gap in the past year
• Experience in a Level 1 or 2 trauma center
• CPI Blue Card required

Skills

• Essential: triage, rapid assessment, strong communication
• Recommended: proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR)
• Recommended: experience in high‑acuity ER settings
