The Emergency Room Registered Nurse position in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont involves providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, rural emergency department with over 15,000 annual visits. Candidates must bring their Vermont or compact multi-state Registered Nurse license on the first day.

Job Details

• Location: Saint Johnsbury, Vermont
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week
• Start Date: 07/15/2026

Required Qualifications

• Current Vermont or compact multi-state RN License
• BLS, ACLS
• Minimum 3 years ER RN experience
• Familiarity with Meditech Electronic Medical Record system or ability to learn quickly
• Certifications as specified

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC certification

Additional Information

• Emergency Department Details: Nine beds, over 15,000 patients annually, rural critical access hospital, no public transportation, closest airport two hours away.
• Credentialing: Must be completed no later than five business days before the start date.
• Orientation: A 48-hour contract will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start.
