About the role

This position involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care in a Level III Trauma Center emergency department. The role requires dynamic assessment and intervention skills to manage a high-volume, fast-paced environment, with a focus on patient safety and quality care delivery. The Emergency Room Nurse is responsible for providing comprehensive emergency care at a high-traffic Level III Trauma Center with 38 beds and 2 trauma bays, in an ED ranked among Ohio's busiest.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency care in a Level III Trauma Center ED
• Perform rapid assessment and intervention for diverse patient populations
• Maintain patient safety and quality care in a high-volume, fast-paced setting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure timely interventions
• Document care using Epic Emergency Department electronic medical record

Requirements

• Active RN licensure
• BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 3 ED assignments or 3 years of recent ED experience
• Proficiency with Epic Emergency Department EMR
• Located in Ohio

Schedule

Days shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday rotation.
