Travel Emergency Room RN - $1,970 per week

About the role

The organization is seeking an Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract at a facility in South Austin. This role involves providing critical patient care in a busy emergency department with a focus on trauma, behavioral health, and cardiac cases, utilizing advanced equipment and following established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical patient care in a fast‑paced emergency department
• Focus on trauma, behavioral health, and cardiac cases
• Utilize advanced equipment and follow established protocols
• Perform splinting, EKGs, trauma assists, airway support
• Conduct behavioral health de‑escalation
• Comply with dress code (navy blue scrubs) and unit policies
• Multitask, work as a team player, and act as a self‑starter

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of clinical emergency nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
• Preferred: Meditech experience, trauma experience, inpatient experience, CPI certification
