About the role
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in various emergency nursing practices and adapt well within a fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage care for patients in an emergency department setting.
- Perform EKG tests and monitor patient vitals continuously.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapy.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide optimal patient care.
- Conduct triage and prioritize care based on patient conditions.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years experience in an Emergency Department.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications are required; CPI, PALS, and TNCC are preferred.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
- Previous Charge RN and Level 2 Trauma experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
Skills
- Proficiency in emergency nursing practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Knowledge of EPIC charting system.
- Experience with ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, CPI, PALS, and TNCC certifications.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30), with 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days required every 6 weeks. Holidays as needed. No call required.
