About the role
Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) position providing critical care to Emergency Room patients within a busy healthcare facility. The role requires a dedicated professional capable of handling fast-paced environments, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.)
- Minimum 36 hours per week
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications
- ESI level 5 training
- 2+ years of clinical experience
- At least 2 previous travel assignments successfully completed
- Cerner experience preferred
- TNCC training preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive emergency care by utilizing nursing processes
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
- Supervise staff delivering patient care
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective patient outcomes
- Deliver patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Ensure coordination of effective nursing care based on established practices
- Contribute to safe patient care and team collaboration
