Travel Emergency Room RN - $1,900 per week

About the role

Emergency Room (ER) Nurse specialist based in the region. This position involves providing critical acute care in a free-standing emergency department that serves both adult and pediatric patients. The role requires skilled assessment and intervention, ensuring high-quality patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical acute care to adult and pediatric patients in a free-standing emergency department.
• Perform skilled assessment and intervention to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS.
• Valid state nursing license and current certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department experience.
• Experience with adult acute care, pediatric outpatient, trauma, and outpatient services.

Skills

• Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, ventilated patient care, central line care, chest tube management, and procedural sedation (preferred).
• Knowledge of electronic charting systems, specifically Epic (required).
