Travel Emergency Room RN - $1,860 per week
Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Carlsbad, New Mexico. This temporary contract position involves providing high-quality care to Emergency Room patients in a Level 3 Trauma facility. The RN will utilize critical thinking, clinical expertise, and leadership skills to ensure patient safety and effective treatment delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to Emergency Room patients
- Utilize critical thinking and clinical expertise to ensure patient safety
- Deliver effective treatment in a fast-paced environment
- Adhere to floating requirements as needed
- Follow call-out procedures (2 hours prior to shift start)
Requirements
- Valid nursing license
- 2+ years of Emergency Room experience (preferred)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, ENPC, TNCC
- Ability to obtain fingerprints
- Willingness to work 12-hour shifts (9am–9pm, mids) with a minimum of 36 hours per week
- Patient ratio: 4:1
- No blocked scheduling or 48-hour guarantees approved
- RTO blackout dates: 1 summer and 1 winter (dependent on department needs)
- Max RTO: 1 per schedule within a 6-week scheduling window
- Scrub color: Full uniform, any color scrubs
- EMR: MedHost (Electronic Medical Record)
