Travel Emergency Room RN - $1,850 per week
Job Summary
The role involves providing high-quality emergency care across all age groups, from infants to geriatrics. This position requires candidates to bring their license on the first day and demonstrate proficiency in critical care skills, including IV starts, neuro assessments, and bedside procedural support. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of Emergency Room experience, regardless of trauma level.

- Schedule: Days: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM, Mids: 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, Nights: 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM
- Shift Hours: 12 hours per shift
- Minimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience, any trauma level
Skills and Experience
- Proficiency in IV starts, Foley and NG tube insertions, neuro assessments (NIHSS)
- Experience in triage, codes, initiating/titrating pressors, cardiac drips, sedation, and insulin management
- Critical patient care, hyper/hypothermia management, bedside procedural support, moderate sedation (versed, fentanyl, ketamine)
- Ability to lead by example, team player, adaptable, and comfortable with ER subject matter expertise
Patient Population
All ages, including unhoused and low socioeconomic status patients, with diagnoses such as heart failure, GI bleeds, trauma, critical illnesses, and post-transplant complications.
Patient Ratios
Approximately 4-5 patients per RN.

- Charge nurse available 24/7
- Occasionally assigned to patient care
- Management available 24/7
- ER physicians and midlevel providers present 24/7
- Phlebotomy and bedside procedural support available, with rare use of VAST team U/S competent staff
- RN, RT, hospitalist, and intensivist available 24/7
- Department equipped with U/S, VAD, CT, and X-ray
- No floating requirements specified
