This role involves providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced emergency department. The ER RN is responsible for rapid assessment, intervention, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to manage a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions. Job Details Position Description: The ER RN provides critical care in a 36-bed emergency department serving approximately 59,000 patients annually. Responsibilities include patient assessment, triage, rapid intervention, medication administration, and documentation in the electronic medical record. The RN participates in protocols for rapid response, trauma, stroke, and other emergencies, maintaining infection control and safety standards. Required Qualifications: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma (or compact license); current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; prior experience in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or high-acuity settings. Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Additional Information: The role involves standing, walking, lifting, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift, with frequent exposure to trauma and critical illness. Collaboration with diverse healthcare team members and EMS partners serving the Lawton community and surrounding areas is essential.
