Travel Emergency Room RN - $1,729 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel nursing contract in Bridgeport, West Virginia. This position requires night shifts with a focus on triage and critical care in an Emergency Department setting.

Schedule

• 13-week contract duration
• 36 hours per week
• 3x12 hour night shifts (19:00 - 07:00)
• Weekdays and every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Triage and care for patients with a variety of emergency conditions
• Manage critically ill patients and administer emergency medications
• Perform necessary procedures including IV starts, arterial line management, and intubation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting in Cerner
• Monitor and assess patient progress throughout their treatment

Required Qualifications

• Current West Virginia RN License
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Department settings (5 years preferred)
• Travel experience required
• Experience in a small Emergency Department is a plus
