Travel Emergency Room RN - $1,703 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Canton, Ohio.

About the role

This 13-week travel assignment begins on August 28, 2026. The schedule is 12-hour night shifts, with a total of 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a Level 2 trauma facility.
• Work at least every other holiday.
• Complete ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months recent Emergency Department (ED) experience.
• 18 months combined permanent experience in the specialty (preferred within one location).
• Active Ohio license or compact license in hand at time of submission.
• Epic experience required.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions only).
• Nicotine-free (temporary exemption for nurses and CSTs).
• No open background cases; no license hits accepted.
• BCI/FBI fingerprints must be completed within 48 hours of signing the contract.

Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – AHA or American Red Cross
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA or American Red Cross
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – AHA or American Red Cross
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)

References

• One recent reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM), supervisor, or director in the specialty (from the past 12 months).

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual pay may differ and is subject to change during the assignment.
