Travel Emergency Room RN - $1,552 per week

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with Emergency Department experience, specifically with neuro/stroke patients, for a 13-week travel contract. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment, manage acute cases, and demonstrate strong clinical skills.

Schedule

• Night shift: 3×12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00)
• 36 hours per week
• Assignment duration: 13 weeks, starting 09/22/2026

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Manage and prioritize patient care effectively, especially in critical situations
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting using Meditech
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Respond to emergency situations and provide appropriate interventions

Requirements

• Minimum of 2.5 years of experience in the Emergency Department
• At least 1 year of experience with neuro/stroke patients
• Current RN license in Florida or compact license
• Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH, PALS (TNCC preferred)
• Experience working in a Level I or II Trauma Center is preferred
