Travel Emergency Room RN - $1,485 per week

About the role

TotalMed RN, a Top Ten travel nursing and healthcare staffing agency, is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. This is a 12‑week travel assignment requiring 36 hours per week on 12‑hour evening shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse team to evaluate, triage and implement care per physician instructions.
• Perform minor medical operations and advise patients/family on illnesses or injuries.
• Document medical history, check allergies, obtain vital signs, and monitor emotional and physical well‑being.
• Provide basic bedside care, clean and bandage wounds, administer IV therapy.
• Maintain supplies and medical equipment.
• Report suspected abuse to appropriate agencies.
• Stand, walk, bend, lean and stoop for extended periods; lift up to 20 lbs routinely and up to 50 lbs when moving patients.
• Cope with stress in a fast‑paced environment and relate to patients of all ages and backgrounds.

Requirements

• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH, and CPI certifications.
• Minimum 1‑2 years recent acute care experience (ER preferred).
• Ability to meet the physical demands outlined above.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
