A mid-sized hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is seeking a skilled Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract position. The ideal candidate will work 48 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and nights.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients presenting with acute medical conditions
• Perform triage and assess patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments as necessary
• Document patient care and treatment in medical records
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current RN license in good standing
• Experience in emergency department setting preferred
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Schedule

This position requires a 12-hour shift, nights, and 48 hours per week. Candidates may float to sister facilities if census drops, which happens rarely but is a requirement to be aware of. Sister facilities are all in the Milwaukee metro area.
