Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse - $2,363 per week
About the role
The Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, attending to patients presenting with a variety of critical conditions including chest pain, stroke, sepsis, cardiac arrest, trauma, and respiratory illness. The ED RN will be responsible for triaging patients, administering emergency medications, and performing life-saving interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments and triage patients efficiently.
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols.
- Manage and monitor ventilated patients and arterial lines.
- Provide care during critical situations including trauma and cardiac arrest.
- Career coordination with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
- Document patient care accurately in the Epic charting system.
Requirements
- Active RN License in MD or Compact License.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of nursing experience, with a preference for 3 years of travel experience.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI.
- Experience with Epic charting system is essential.
- Previous charge experience and background in trauma environments are preferred.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
3x12 Hour Night Shifts (19:30 - 08:00), every other weekend and holidays as required.
