Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse - $2,251 per week

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) with at least one year of experience to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. The RN will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing patient care initiatives in the emergency department while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
• Conduct assessments and perform necessary medical interventions.
• Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, including dysrhythmias and blood product administration.
• Perform phlebotomy and IV insertion, along with management of central lines and emergency medications.
• Ensure adherence to isolation precautions and procedural sedation administration.
• Float to other areas within the department as needed based on census.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an ER RN.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.
• New York RN license (in hand) is required for submission.
• Experience with Epic charting is preferred.
• Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and placing IVs.

Pay

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
