Requirements

  • Active Wisconsin RN License
  • BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS (AHA or ARC)
  • Minimum 5 years of Emergency Department experience
  • At least 1 year of completed travel nursing experience (required)
  • Level II Trauma experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required

Unit Highlights

  • Level II Trauma Center
  • 18-bed Emergency Department
  • Stroke-certified facility
  • Patient ratio: 3–4 patients per RN
  • Nursing staff perform lab draws and nebulizer treatments
  • In-house laboratory, Respiratory Therapy, and X-ray services
  • Pyxis medication dispensing system
  • Fast-paced, high-acuity environment

Assignment Details

  • 13-week contract
  • 36 guaranteed hours per week
  • Variable 12-hour shifts (days, evenings, and nights)
  • Float to nearby facilities if needed
  • Every other weekend and holiday
  • Eligible for up to 36 hours of low census during the assignment
  • Professional scrubs of any solid color accepted
