Job Details
- Shift: 12H Nights
- Total Weekly Hours: 36
Required Certifications
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
Required Skills
- Ability to read and interpret telemetry
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) not required
Experience and Work Environment
- Experience in a Level 3 Trauma Center
- Experience in an Emergency Room (ER) setting with an average of 25 patients per day
- Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4-5 based on acuity
Scheduling and Shift Notes
- 12-hour shifts
- Scheduling based on leadership needs
- Every other weekend and holiday required
- Night shifts with floating within region/zone's ERs
Other Requirements
- Must be in state for the week of orientation, even if first-day modules are remote
- Navy blue scrub color dress code
Charting System
- Experience with EPIC is necessary
