About the role

A mid-sized hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, is seeking a skilled Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract position. The ideal candidate will work 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts, and may float to a sister facility if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care to patients presenting with acute medical conditions
• Perform triage and assess patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Document patient care and treatment in medical records
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Wisconsin
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in emergency department setting preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Schedule
