Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse - $1,764 per week

Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Salem, Virginia. This position is for a 13-week travel assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts. Unit Details

• Number of Beds: 27
• Number of Staff: 50 RNs / 25 Medics
• Day Shift Staffing: 1 charge, 5 RNs, 2-3 medics; additional 4-5 RNs at 11am; additional 1-2 RNs at 3pm
• Night Shift Staffing: 1 charge, 5 RNs, 2-3 medics
• Patient Ratios: 4-6:1
• EMR: Meditech

Requirements

• Must have completed 2-3 travel assignments
• Must have 2-3 years of ER experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-acuity ERs and fast-paced ERs with high volume
• Experience with patient ratios of 5:1
