About the role
Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a 27-week assignment starting on August 3, 2026, in Penn Yan, New York.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in an emergency room setting.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Document patient care activities and progress in accordance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
- Experience in acute care settings preferred.
- Knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
- Current CPR certification.
Skills
- Proficiency in using medical software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 24 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend to be determined.
