Travel Emergency Room Nurse I - $2,058 per week
About the role
A hospital in CT is looking for an experienced ER RN for a 13 week travel assignment. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of recent ER experience, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS and CT license. TNCC preferred and Epic experience highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Triage patients and provide initial assessment
- Perform diagnostic tests and treatments
- Coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers
- Document patient progress and treatment outcomes
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in CT
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- NIHSS and CT license
- TNCC preferred
- Epic experience highly preferred
Qualifications
- 2+ years of recent ER experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
Skills
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR)
