Requirements

• Must maintain a current valid certification of the following throughout employment:
• - Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
• - Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
• - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association
• - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within one (1) year of hire from American Heart Association
• - Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) required within one (1) year of hire
• - Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) required within one (1) year of hire
• - National Institutes of Health (NIH) - NIHSS - NIH Stroke Scale must be completed (within 6 months of hire)
• - Emergency Severity Index Level 5 within 3 months of hire
• - Patient Sitter Competency Training (upon hire)
