Unit Details

• 26 Beds + 3 Trauma Bays | 4-Bed Treatment Area
• Ratio: 1:4
• EMR: Cerner
• ED nurses manage ER holds and perform triage
• Nurses read telemetry strips
• RT available 24/7
• Medics assist with IVs, EKGs, meds, and transport

Requirements

• 2 years recent ED experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (TNCC & ENPC preferred)
• IV skills and EKG rhythm interpretation

• Abdominal pain
• American Samoa Medical Syndrome
• Chest Pain
• Stroke
• STEMI
• Covid
• SOB
• Moderate Sedation
• Pediatrics to Geriatrics

Unit

26 Beds + 3 Trauma Bays | 4-Bed Treatment Area

Shift

• 12-hour shifts (7–7, 11–11, 3–3)
• Every 3rd weekend

Holiday Flexibility

Required

No Block Scheduling

Orientation: 1–2 precepted shifts

Scrubs

Navy Blue

Notes

• RTO must be submitted upfront
• Strong commitment and punctuality are required
• Floating is rare (usually sitter duties if needed)
