Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Asheville, North Carolina. Jackson Nurse Professionals delivers cost-effective travel nurse staffing solutions to over 500 hospitals, outpatient clinics, and home health clients nationwide, awarded Best of Staffing - Talent and Client 2024 and rated a Top Workplace 2023 by the Orlando Sentinel. The assignment is for 6 weeks, 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. The unit has 101 beds, typical patient ratio 4:1 (medical) up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds, uses Baxter pumps and GE monitors, and documents in Cerner. Scheduling requires every other weekend; block scheduling is not permitted and schedules must meet department needs. Floating is restricted to the ED, but nurses must be open to floating to all sections within the ED.
