Travel Emergency Dept RN - $2,687 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the Emergency Department at a healthcare facility in Valparaiso, Indiana. This position starts on 09/07/2026, lasts 13 weeks, and requires 48 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention, including recognizing and treating life-threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Apply knowledge of general and specific health issues relevant to emergency care.
• Understand triage protocols to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications may be required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Additional requirements as determined by the client facility.
