Travel Emergency Dept RN - $2,441 per week

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Emergency Department Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

About the role

This travel nursing position offers 40 hours per week with flexible 8-hour shifts. Employment type is travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention, recognizing and effectively treating life-threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Apply knowledge of both general and specific health issues relevant to emergency care.
• Understand and apply triage principles to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications may be required.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Additional requirements as determined by the client facility.
