Travel Emergency Dept RN - $2,180 per week

About the Role

MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the Emergency Department (ED) at a top healthcare facility in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This position is for 13 weeks, starting on 08/24/2026, with a schedule of 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention, including recognizing and treating life-threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Demonstrate knowledge of general and specific health issues relevant to emergency care.
• Understand and apply triage principles to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN License.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications may be required depending on the position.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
