MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Salem, Virginia. The position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in emergency care with a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention.
• Recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Prioritize injuries based on medical need through proper triage.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required depending on the assignment.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care emergency room setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
