Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Saint Louis, Missouri.
About the Role
This 13-week travel assignment starts on July 17, 2026, with a schedule of 12-hour night shifts and a total of 36 hours per week.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care.
- Maintain professional accountability and coordinate patient care with other departments.
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
- Function within the scope of nursing preparation, adhering to the Missouri Nurse Practice Act and Mercy standards.
Requirements
- Current RN license (eligible for or currently licensed in Missouri).
- Minimum of 2 years of ED/trauma experience (inpatient only).
- Trauma experience required.
Certifications
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – AHA only.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – AHA only.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – AHA only.
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale).
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course).
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for most of the shift.
- Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and turning patients with assistance.
- Meet unit-specific physical demands, including pushing, pulling, and gripping up to 50 lbs., and pinching up to 15 lbs.
- Minimal kneeling, crouching, and crawling.
- High-risk exposure to blood and body fluids.
