Travel Emergency Dept RN - $2,013 per week

About the role

The Emergency Department (ED) is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13‑week travel contract in Austin, Texas. The RN will provide high‑quality patient care and support in a fast‑paced environment, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform assessments and manage patient care in the ED.
• Assist in urgent and critical procedures, including lumbar punctures, intubations, lac repairs, and more.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate medical records using Meditech EMR.

Requirements

• Current RN license.
• TNCC and ENPC certifications by start date.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Preferred: greater than 2 years of experience in a fast‑paced emergency setting.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

13‑week contract, nights 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM with rotating weekends. 36 hours per week, 12‑hour shifts.
