About the role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality Registered Nurse - Emergency Room for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients in Statesboro, Georgia. This position offers 12-hour evening shifts and is ideal for nurses with recent acute care emergency room experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention, recognizing and effectively treating life-threatening conditions.
- Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
- Apply knowledge of general and specific health issues to deliver urgent treatment and care.
- Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
- Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.
Requirements
- Active RN License.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC may be required (facility-dependent).
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
- Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.
