About the Role
ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Asheville, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient needs and establish appropriate care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Provide direction and support to nursing staff and other team members.
- Maintain accurate, comprehensive patient records using Cerner.
Required Experience, Certifications & Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a nurse, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting.
- Current RN license and certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS.
- Experience in a Level II trauma center and high-volume ED preferred.
- Ability to coach and provide real-time feedback.
Assignment Details
- Duration: 13-week contract position.
- Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 2:45 PM - 3:15 AM. Must be available for every other weekend and flexible to meet departmental needs.
- Hours per week: 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
