Travel Emergency Dept RN - $1,566 per week

About the role

This is a 13-week contract position for a travel nurse RN in the Emergency Department at a facility in Boerne, Texas. The schedule includes 12-hour shifts, with rotating weekends and holiday responsibilities as per unit policy.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and triage patients effectively based on their emergency needs.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and efficiently using Meditech.
• Manage urgent care procedures for various emergency cases, including stroke and STEMI.

Requirements

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses will not be accepted).
• 2+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required.
• Meditech experience is preferred.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shifts available from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with rotating weekends and holiday responsibilities as per unit policy.
