Travel Emergency Dept RN - $1,297 per week

About the role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department (ED) in Asheville, North Carolina. This is a travel nursing position, 13‑week contract starting ASAP, with 36 hours per week (12‑hour day shifts) in a Level II trauma center.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care following established protocols in a Level II trauma center.
• Monitor patient status, perform triage, and coordinate with other healthcare professionals.
• Utilize advanced medical technology and equipment to support patient care.
• Engage in continuous patient assessment and timely documentation utilizing the Cerner system.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS certifications required before start date.
• Experience in a high‑volume ED, with exposure to trauma and stroke care preferred.
