Travel Emergency Department RN - $2,462 per week
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Madison, Wisconsin. This is a 13‑week travel assignment starting 12/14/2026, with 36 hours per week on 12‑hour evening shifts.
Requirements
- Active RN License
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required in some positions
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
- Other requirements to be determined by the client facility
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention; recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.
- Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
- Maintain knowledge of general and specific health issues due to the range of medical conditions requiring urgent treatment.
- Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
- Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including both physical and mental health conditions.
