About the role

Travel nursing assignment in Haxtun, Colorado for an Emergency Department (ED) RN. Assignment starts 09/07/2026, lasts 13 weeks, with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.

Urgent need for a Medsurg/ED RN with 2 years of experience. The facility includes 6 medsurg beds (inpatient, observation, swing bed) and 3 ER beds. Common diagnoses: CHF, COPD, post-op (ortho), pneumonia, UTI/AMS, failure to thrive.

EMR system: Athena.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department and Medsurg units
Handle outpatient infusion services
Manage procedural sedation under AHA guidelines

Requirements

Active RN license
2 years of nursing experience
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
AHA Procedural Sedation Module completion
