Travel Emergency Department RN - $2,297 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse for an Emergency Department assignment in Springfield, Missouri.

About the role

This travel nursing assignment lasts 13 weeks, scheduled to start on July 29, 2026. The position offers 36 hours per week with 12-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma facility.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise in emergency department responsibilities.
• Stand and walk for most of the shift.
• Lift, push, and transfer patients on stretchers and in wheelchairs.
• Perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, gripping up to 50 lbs., pinching up to 15 lbs., and occasional kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

Requirements

• Current RN license (eligible or currently licensed in Missouri).
• 1 year of Emergency Department experience in a Level 1 or 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma facility (must be indicated on resume).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), TNCC, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start if not already certified).
• Demonstrated skill in human relations, communication, and clinical expertise.
• Ability to handle high-acuity patients and high-volume environments (200+ patients/day preferred).

Preferred Experience

• Trauma and pediatric experience.
• Experience in high-acuity, high-volume emergency departments.

Pay
