Travel Emergency Department RN - $2,252 per week

HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Danville, Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provides emergency care to patients as needed.
• Assesses patient conditions and develops treatment plans.
• Maintains accurate records and communicates patient status to other healthcare providers.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Ensures compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years ED experience required.
• If candidate has ICU & ED experience, will be considered.
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, Handle with Care (available on-site), NIH, PALS or ENPC.
• Number of Beds: 31 beds and 2 Triage rooms; 7 of the 31 are utilized as Behavioral Health or Acute patients.
• EHR: Primarily MedHost (ED) and Meditech: Utilized for admit holds (only the EMAR) and behavioral health patients if they are in department for extended periods.
• Supervisor: Ashlee Compton BSN, RN, Director of Emergency Services.
• Patient Population: Serves all ages.

Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice as an RN in at least one state.
• Current certification in ACLS, BLS, Handle with Care (available on-site), NIH, PALS or ENPC.
