MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for the Emergency Department in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Specialty: ED - Emergency Department. Discipline: RN. Start date: October 28, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type: Travel.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required (depending on the position)
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Emergency Room setting
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention, recognizing and treating life‑threatening conditions
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a wide range of trauma and illnesses with decisive action
• Maintain knowledge of general and specific health issues relevant to emergency care
• Understand and apply triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients’ physical and mental health conditions
