About the role
The Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department will provide high-quality care to patients across a diverse age range, including pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. This role involves handling various emergency situations and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and triaging patients in emergency situations.
- Implementing care plans and administering medications as needed.
- Monitoring patient conditions and responding to changes in acuity.
- Conducting IV starts, phlebotomy, and blood product administration.
- Collaborating with ER techs and other healthcare professionals on the unit.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting.
- Active NJ or Compact nursing license.
- Certification in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS.
- Experience with EPIC charting system is required.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Current active NJ or Compact nursing license.
Skills

Pay
The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
