Travel Emergency Department RN - $2,175 per week

Junxion Med Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Springfield, Missouri. This 13-week assignment starts July 23, 2026, with the possibility of adjusting the start date, shift, or pay to fit your needs.

About the Role

This is a travel nursing position in a busy urban trauma center. The role requires 36 hours per week on 12-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma facility.
• Demonstrate clinical expertise in emergency department responsibilities.
• Stand and walk for most of the shift; lift, push, and transfer patients.
• Perform physical tasks including pushing, pulling, gripping (up to 50 lbs.), and pinching (up to 15 lbs.).

Requirements

• Current RN license eligible for or active in Missouri.
• Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience in a Level 1 Trauma facility or 2 years in a Level 2 Trauma facility (must be indicated on resume).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (AHA only), TNCC, and NIHSS (NIHSS may be obtained after submission but before start date).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with trauma/pediatric patients, high patient volume (200+ patients/day), and high-acuity cases.

Pay

Estimated weekly pay includes projected hourly wages and weekly meal and lodging per diems based on nationally published GSA rates. Actual pay and per diems may vary and are subject to change during the assignment.
