About the role
MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking a quality Registered Nurse for a travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients. This position offers 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts for a duration of 13 weeks, starting 09/07/2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients with various types of illness or trauma requiring emergency attention, including recognizing and effectively treating life-threatening conditions.
- Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
- Apply knowledge of both general and specific health issues relevant to emergency care.
- Understand and implement triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
- Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.
Requirements
- Active RN License.
- Degree from an accredited nursing program.
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications may be required.
- Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting.
- Additional requirements to be determined by the client facility.
